Smt. Sewli Bose is a daughter of Pt Ashesh Bandopadhyay, the celebrated Sitar and Esraj player of the Bishnupur Gharana. She was fortunate enough to receive intensive talim from her father about 16/17 years. In addition to being a classical musician, Sewli also learnt Rabindrasangeet from Sangeet Bhavana, Visva Bharati when it was in its hey days.<br />In this album she has played a few select Tagore Songs.
